Insufficient conditioning, such as strength training and stretching, can also increase a player’s likelihood of injury.

- SLAP (superior labrum anterior to posterior) tears
- Shoulder instability
- Rotator cuff tendinitis and tears
- Bicep tendinitis and tendon tears
